    Pure Life Adventure offers the cultural, adventure, and leadership experience of a gap program with the added benefit of strong, research based, therapeutic support. Our program integrates adventure activities (surfing, rafting, cultural immersion, and backpacking) with cognitive behavioral therapy which help our students overcome challenges and build a tool box in order to thrive moving forward.

Adventure Itineraries are five days in length (Wednesday - Thursday) and rotate through activities including: surfing, rafting, Backpacking, Cultural Homestays, Community Service or Certifications.

Pure Life offers their students nationally recognized certifications in: Wilderness First Aid, Swift Water Rescue, and Technical Ropes and Rescue

Staff Training and Certification

Our bi-cultural field staff are highly trained in adventure therapy and our experts in their field. Our guides are Wilderness First Responder and Adult CPR certified and participate in weekly inservice trainings to address the developmental and therapeutic needs of our students.

Pure Life employs full time, masters level therapists (licensed) who specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed therapy (EMDR), motivational interviewing and traditional talk therapy.

Pure Life is accredited throught the Association of Experiential Education.
