    AARDVARK ISRAEL'S MISSION is to bring together in Israel a diverse group of students from all over the world for meaningful, life-changing experiences that strengthen their Jewish identity and connection to the worldwide Jewish People, deepen their commitment to Israel, and foster their personal growth.

Staff Training and Certification

High student to staff ratio - approximately 15 students per counselor; All counselors have completed the Israeli Army or National Service; Counselors live in the same buildings where the students are housed; Senior Leadership of the program each have over 20 years experience operating gap year programs in Israel. The program was awarded the Masa Outstanding Education Award in 2019.
